When you steam distill the oils they have a different makeup than just using the grasses as a dried herb or boiling them for tea. Just like when people say they can't eat grapefruit if they are on a certain medication, they can still use grapefruit oil because it is cold pressed from the rind only and has a different constituency than the meat of the fruit.
I had a friend who was highly allergic to grasses but was able to heal her torn ligaments with lemongrass. She did have a small reaction but we have taken care of that by detoxing with the GX and PB.

I want to reiterate that I have no scientific or medical experience. Some of my friends are my testing lab and we always muscle test first. I have someone who could not use Peppermint no matter in what quantity or strength. After a protocol of cleanses, peppermint is her new favorite oil
