[Everything doTERRA] MRSA

My very best friend has contracted a staph infection just after surgery. He is resistant to oils so I am trying to come up with a "silver bullet" for him. He has been through two rounds of strong antibiotics at this point. The infection is in his leg from the knee down but the surgery was in his shoulder.

He is resistant to the oils but he is open to me. I need help. He is my best friend.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Alternative Sciatica Treatment

Have you tried wintergreen for the pain? I don't know if you have birch, but my husband swears by that oil. :)

I had considerable pain in the first few months of breastfeeding around my back and arms (probably something to do with my son gaining over 10 pounds in the first 3 months). I've found the chiropractic visits and Balance go far in easing my discomfort. Sometimes I need to apply a drop of Balance every hour or two until the pinched feeling disappears.

What about PastTense? Or Deep Blue? They both have peppermint, but maybe in less amounts as AromaTouch?

Just checking, you're not using Whisper are you? The jasmine essential oil cut my milk supply harsher than any peppermint has.

Basil, fennel and lots of water can help increase your supply. Oh, and you might want to check the rubber pieces on your pump. I just recently found out that on the Medela pumps, the rubber membrane can weaken over time and should be replaced every month.

Hope you get your supply back, a solid breastfeeding relationship is something I treasure.

Blessings,
Leah

Thanks!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Rash

You can get rashes from detoxing.  You might have just used to many or not diluted them enough.  Drinking loads of water (with Lemon) and using Zendocrine oil should help. Itching is normally a sign of liver overload. I've had loads of itchy rashes over the years until I really got my liver cleaned up even from chiropractic adjustments!

Is is possiable to get a rash from the oils?  The rash started towards the end of january, I started uising oils in later part of December, lemongrass for Thyroid issues. then when I received my enrollment kit I used slim and sassy daily and other oils and needed....... the rash was on my face only and was there for 3 weeks, very ichy at times and then it would be very painful like my jaw line would be painful to the touch. very weird.

then it moved to the sides of my neck upper part of chest and back of neck, same as the one on my face "ichy mostly at nite or when I would feel nervousor tense, and painful after iching.

now it is on the tops of my hands alittle on the inside of my wrists.and still on neck chest and back of neck .

I have used melecua, lavender but the lavender is kinda strong and burns, meleuca works best.

Just a side note, I started seeing a counselor at the end of December to work through some issuses in my past as a child.

any thoughts?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Mexico IPC's

I was just thinking about this.  I am a new IPC...have a grandmother that owns a top boutique hotel in Puerto Vallarta.  She is not too open to the oils but am visiting her in May and that will be different soon.  I have been curious just how I would get them to her, short of driving them.  I have read that they are sensitive to xrays so that worries me.  I don't see how I would get passed security at an airport with a bunch of oil I don't want put through the xray machines.

I would love to learn more and see if I could get it going in PV.

Thanks for bringing it up!
