Re: [Everything doTERRA] Allergic to oils

Frankincense is not the favorite oil for a wart, sorry she could not handle the smell.
People are not allergic to the oils, the oils are pure and natural. What that person
has is toxins that fight of the good stuff.
If someone wants to get rid of an oil have them use Oregano or On Guard, that will
do the trick.
If someone who has toxin build up wants to use the oils have them start out very
carefully. Cut the oils with a carrier at first and use less than normal for the
application.

Thanks,
Pat

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Allergic to oils

Frankincense and others can sometimes be an acquired smell.  There may not be a remedy for an aroma you do not like.  I do not like the smell of helicrysum, but use it daily in a blood pressure blend.  Some times lemon can help calm the aroma of some stronger (smelly) essential oils.  doTerra oils are very potent.  More so by far than most brands.  If the aroma is to hard to deal with at first, use coconut oil or grapeseed oil as a carrier.  The aroma will not be as strong, but the effecacy will still be there.  As for reactions that are more internal, ie rashes, the person is likely experiencing a burn off or detox.

I think clove would be very warm, but I know Frankincense would be amazing. Apply it around the eye bone.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: bed wetting

I had a horrible bed wetting problem while growing up.  Until I was around 10.  My parents were able to get control of it by cutting of any liquids after 6pm.  That included watermelon and other foods with high water content.  Also they would tuck my blankets under the mattress.  There was no way that my blankets would come off me.  As long as I stayed warm it seemed I didn't have a problem.   My heart goes out to all the parents and children suffering with this.  I know how humiliating it is.  And I try to understand how hard it is to deal with it from a parents point of view.  I think the hugs are a great idea too!

Re: [Everything doTERRA]

My hubby has been having a lot of sinus trouble lately so I introduced
him to the Neti Pot. He is not a real oils person but is willing to
try so last night I had him put a couple of drops of Breathe in it as
Rob says he does. I asked him this morning how it was and he was
amazed at how good it was. No pain and no congestion!!! First time in
a couple of weeks. How good is that!!!
Kind Regards
Kathy.

RE: [Everything doTERRA] Hay Fever

Thanks for the info on Hay Fever, I can’t believe just how badly I’m suffering with it at the moment, and we are in winter.  Here comes the Lavender and Peppermint oils!

I take lavender and peppermint and dab them under my nose to stop the pollen from entering. Also, diffusing in the air helps to keep allergens down.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: h pylori bacteria

Lemongrass oil has been found in studies to be more effective against
H. Pylori than the antibiotics commonly prescribed for it. (This from
a footnote in the Modern Essentials book).

Another non-oil help could be removing things from her diet if she hasn't tried that already.  I had to take all the good stuff out for the first 3-4 months then gradually ease stuff back in.  Here is my do not eat list:
onions, orange juice, red sauces (tomato), chocolate:(, broccoli, cabbage, spicy food, dairy.  I take it all out for about 3 days, then introduce one thing at a time, spacing it out 4-5 days. If my girls got fussy, i left whatever I ate out for a while, then tried again if I was up to it.
Before I discovered the oils, I used a product called colic clam that helped.  you can look at it at www.coliccalm.com.  Hope he gets feeling better soon!  Not fun.

Ginger or peppermint on the bottoms of the feet or bell in a clockwise rub about 1 drop to about 3 of the coconut oil.
you can use lavender and/or chamomile on the tummy too. mix up a roll on and that way it is already diluted and easy to use.

Yes, use a very small amount on the babies tummy with a little carrier oil.

You can continue it every hour until the relief is achieved.

from reflux just about every feed.  She has tried him on some mixture
she purchased from the pharmacy but the little man is still not
happy.  She has to wait a while to get an appointment to see the
paediatrican and I was wondering if Digestzen might help.  Of course
being a new baby we are very cautious at using anything.
Also, since she is breastfeeding would there be any benefit in her
taking the oils herself internally?
I'd appreciate your help I saw the little grandson yesterday and saw
how uncomfortable he is.
Thank you.

Thank you Robert, I had a look at the procedures and suggestions and there is also a video that I have found very helpful.

If you go do everythingdoterra.me there is a number of procedures and suggestions for hay fever.  Also, when hay fever starts effecting your sinuses bad, I have found success using a neti pot.  If you've never used one there are helps all over the internet, even demonstrations on you tube.  I use 1/2 - 1 tsp of sea salt (no iodine) per cup of water and 1-2 drops of essential oil... lemon, eucalyptus, breathe, peppermint are all great ones. Blend the mixture in a blender for 60 seconds if possible, It will help the oils dissipate better.  Have the water as warm as you can stand, and make sure the salt is fully dissolved.  I repeat every hour till I find relief.
