[Everything doTERRA] Re: Need more help..

Thank you for the lavender for nausea suggestion. My daughter broke
her arm two weeks ago and is still feeling a little nauseous after
general anasthesia and perhaps with the constant pain and side effects
of tylenol. Digestzen wasn't really helping much any more so tonight I
tried lavender directly on her abdomen. Again she comes out with,
"Yep, it's kinda scary how quickly it works when you get the right
oil."
I love this group who share so much good stuff! :)

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Bed Wetting

Likely zinc or iodine.  Mercury sits on the receptor sites so they are not absorbed unless a person take a lot of it in the proper form.  Well over 90% of Americans are estimated to be iodine deficient and it wouldn't surprise me if zinc wasn't close to that too.  Magnesium is another possibility since it is responsible for nerves.

Mercury overload be at the root of this.  Ask if he was vaccinated and if the mother has/had amalgam fillings before or during pregnancy.  Ask if she had a Rhogam shot.  If any of those are yes, then there's a good chance mercury is at the root of it. This is WAY more common than people think but because of the sensitive nature it is not often talked about.   I would have him tested for sure.  It would be a pity for him to think there's something wrong with him when it's a physical issue.  EMF's are another common reason for this.  Shut off all things electrical including wi-fi before bed.  Get a battery operated alarm clock.  No plug in.

Which oils are good for kidneys?  I would start there.  The number one bladder spot is near the inner eye so I would put oils in that vicinity (be careful!).  Also Zendocrine for the liver would likely be helpful (muscle test).

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Bed Wetting

My daughter seemed to have problems controlling her bladder until we started her on cod liver oil and the candida oils.  My oldest son had a problem with it and we found out he was allergic to dairy.  I also agree that there is probably an emotional root.  Since I have done energy work on my daughter along with those other 2 things she is great.

[Everything doTERRA] ascites and cancer

We have a good friend that has been fighting cancer for a year now.  She is having problems with her liver and is in the hospital with ascites, which is water retention between the tissues.  She asked me if we have Juniper Berry oil.  My first thought is to get her on lemon.  I know we have to be careful with her because she has been on chemo so long, and is full of toxins.  Any advice?

Another oil great for nausea is our wonderful "when in doubt use
Lavender" oil...just have her rub a lil lavender over her entire
abdomen so that it goes from her liver/gallbladder to her tummy. See
if this helps along with Digestzen. I have given my hubby a pill made
using a combo of Ginger, Digestzen and I think Lavender...just 2-3
drops of each one...maybe she could try this and see if it helps;)

assuming that he goes to the bathroom right before bed and they probably
restrict liquids an hour or two before bed. If that is the case I think
there is something wrong medically, there are conditions that could

[Everything doTERRA] Re: List of non-ingest oils

There is a list on the Essential Oil reference chart...I'll be honest
though I do ingest a couple on the list that say they are not for
internal use...one being Wintergreen, I use it for pain and
inflammation when it is really bad just not on a daily basis
internally...and I LOVE Citrus Bliss in my water. But the chart does
not recommend either of these internally. You can find this chart by
going to your back office and click on Business Tools then on that
site click the first drop down menu and hit "Tools by Title A-Z" this

[Everything doTERRA] Re: High Blood Pressure & GX/PB+ Assist

I agree with Pat those are all great for the heart/hbp...I also use
lemon oil internally and have been for almost a yr. I drink approx 10
drops daily. According to our Modern Essentials book lemon oil should
regulate bp whether that means lowering it or raising it;) My bp is so
much better now b/c of the oils and diet changes that I am on 1/4 of
the dosage I was on 1 yr ago still taking meds but hopefully not for
much longer. I have started incorporating Marjoram and Ylang ylang
into my daily regimen and it appears that they are working well for
me. I put them over my heart as well as on my left hand just
underneath my ring finger &on the bottom of my left foot...hope this
is helpful!:)

Pat thanks for your insight I don't think I realized Cypress was good
for this as well...

Blessings!!!

[Everything doTERRA] Question about Lemon oil and tooth enamel...

Someone made the statement to me about the possibility of Lemon oil
causing our tooth enamel to be weakened...I said pretty emphatically
NO but then thought I better come here and ask all the experts their
opinions...

Soooo any comments or even scientific info about the untruth of this
statement...I thought it was the meat of the lemon that caused tooth
enamel to weaken...Thank you in advance!:)

[Everything doTERRA] List of non-ingest oils

Hello fellow oil users!
Does anyone have a "list" so to speak of doTERRA oils that you would
NOT ingest? I often find myself wishing I had a list I could memorize
or handout/add to my class presentations... it would save me some time
if someone already had one on hand and would feel open to sharing here/
uploading or emailing me directly. I hate to reinvent the wheel if
someone has one handy. I'd really appreciate it.

This is funny, because I have a fairly new IPC, also a registered nurse, who
also became addicted to the Balance. She said her "don't give a D*%&" was
broken and the Balance is the only thing that seemed to help. She went through
two whole bottles in three weeks and then felt like she was losing it.

I did an Aroma Touch Techinique and encouraged her to use the Balance sparingly,
simply because she needed to learn to control her life and oils can help but isn't always
the whole answer.
I also encouraged her to drink lots of lemon (or citrus) water to help her detox. She
is doing much better.
I know the Balance won't hurt you but sometimes you need to just use it 1-2 daily
and not more. You put you body in the position of not knowing what to do with all
that extra oil you are throwing in. The Balance will work just fine when you use it
sparingly and allow it to do what it is meant to do.

More is not always the answer.

RE: [Everything doTERRA] Balance and feeling hormonal

I had a friend use Balance – and became very emotional!  She was very drawn to it – and LOVED it – but couldn’t figure out why she was crying frequently.  As we talked, her mother (whom she had cared for a lot in her last days) had recently passed away, and she realized that it was emotions she had been holding in finally letting themselves out!  She is much better now, and still enjoys Balance, but it was something she needed to work through emotionally – and the Balance helped her do that!

I have heard that Ginger is fabulous for nausea and DigetsZen as well.
As for the gallbladder, I would drink grapefruit in my water, and use geranium topically and see how that goes.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] High Blood Pressure & GX/PB+ Assist

I would suggest for your mother-in-law that she start using a blend of Lemon,
Marjoram, Cypress and Ylang Ylang. Rub it on the wrist points, heart area and
bottom of the feet. This is what my husband uses successfully. Just remember that
everyone is different and what works for him doesn't always work for others.

You can do the cleanse with the LLV, just start slowly in case you have a lot of detox.

They have tried applying Cypress over the bladder for several months

[Everything doTERRA] Bed Wetting

I have a customer who has a 12 year old son who is still wetting the
bed at night. He wears pullups but most of the time the volume exceeds
the capacity of them. This happens several days a week. They have
tried 3 different chiropractors for anywhere between 3 months and a
year with no change. They have gone thru allergy testing and all food
and most environmental allergies have been eliminated. They follow a
pretty strict diet at home (watching carbs and eating lots of fruits
and veggies and protein), not to say they eat perfectly when they are
not at home. He had a lot of ear infections as a baby and toddler and
was on antibiotics quit a bit. They no longer use them but he did
until about the age of 6.

They have tried applying Cypress over the bladder for several months
with no change. Any ideas?

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Breastfeeding

I just have never used Basil. I know that it helps increase supply. I
was just worried that if I told her to use it and it was at all hot I
would feel bad so on the safe side I said use a carrier oil. That is
good to know that you don't need a carrier oil and you can put it on
directly. Thank you! That is why I love this site, you learn so much
from every one. :) I wish I would have know about the fenugreek when I
was nursing...

Re: [Everything doTERRA] rheumatoid arthritis internal inflammation.

I have read that the body has stopped making it's own pain fighters so it can take up to 6 months for the body to kick back in.

My two cents:
After our bodies have been on any pain killer for an extended length of time it becomes a physical addiction.  Tapering off very slowly may be her best best.  Such as taking 1 1/2 pills a day for a month and then 1 and so on.  I have had the opportunity to see many cases in which the person on the meds had to taper off very slowly as there was a physical addiction to the meds.  And during the tapering off process the pain can actually get worse before it gets better.

[Everything doTERRA] diabetic retinopathy

Numerous years ago I developed diabetic retinopathy. They felt laser
surgery was necessary to the point of full coverage of the retina in
my right eye. Now they are telling me that the retina has wrinkled
because of the lack of blood flow to it. My vision is not good. I take
LLV and have used myrrh on my smallest toes, but get headaches if
applied around my eyes. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Locally grown benefit?

Hi Joni,

YAY for buying local when high quality local is available. In regard
to oils, I completely agree that oils sourced from their native
areas are definitely preferable but besides that, us Oregonians
would be using very few oils indeed!

Hey - are you planning to join us at Diamond University in Portland on
July 30? It will be REALLY great for active consultants!
