Hi Rose, I am Beth R. I have been married for 20 years (1989), a Filipino residing in Manila. We have 3 sons ages 18, 16 now in 3rd year high & 9 who's in grade 5. My 2 elder kids are able to develop their skill in drawing - still life. My eldest is now taking up Bachelor of Science in Biology, a pre-med course.. now in 2nd year . he's a scholar in a City state school. If he decides, he can pursue a medical profession and in the future be able to become "the family doctor", a doctor for others, set up a clinic, conduct medical missions.

I have been a full time wife and mother to my kids. I also help my husband in our family business - a party shop. You can check our web at www.joespartyshop.com. I do face painting, paper mache Pinata and for extra income I do tutoring at elementary level on English, Math & Reading.

Hi, I joined here recently. My name is Gayle. I'm a SAHM to 3 boys Joseph 7, Cole 5, & Taw 19 months, & wife to Andrew Jackson. We have lived in Maeser (right next to Vernal) Utah for over 8 years, still renting the same place which for the past 2 weeks has had a serious mouse infestation... yuck!
We live frugally but comfortably on one income, though I am always open to hearing others' stories & ideas from frugal and thrifty living. I also like trying out new recipes, though my family doesn't always enjoy the results.
Besides my children, I enjoy gardening in season, crocheting, sewing, quilting, and lately blogging (agjacksonfamily.blogspot.com). I DO NOT enjoy housework & trying to plan meals!
There's a few things that I am a big advocate of: Food Storage, frugal living, saving money (not that much gets saved at my house these days), Humanitarian giving, canning & preserving the harvest, and a few others that I can't think of just now. I do think that everyone should take any advantage of learning new things, because you never know when you might need that knowledge; I want to learn how to make soap from scratch, not just those melt & pour bars -- I did it once in high school chemistry class but that was over 17 years ago.
Hmm... that's probably more than enough about me for now, though I'm sure that more will come out later - I can be quite gabby when I get started.

In our small county 7 people confirmed dead and 75 hospitalized from H1N1 they say this is just the begining, having just lost my girls's father how could I ignore the threat of losing them or them losing me?

my name is angela im a single mother of two girls. my oldest is 3 yrs old and my youngest is almost 2. i need good people to talk to so i dont go nuts tring to figer out what to do. my 3 year old is having a tough time under standing she has to use the patty chair so shes still in diapers and my 2 year old is always sick.

hello im angela im 20 years old and still have troble sleeping but when i was in school i had a lot on my plate to. i went to work before and after scholl and than scholl and homework kepping the house clean taking care of my nana and lil brother and i was getting to bed at 10-12 at night and up at 3am every day but i wrote down what i had to do and i made up times to do them and when ever i had exra time i worked on home work tso i coiuld get to bed earlyier and than i stop working for the fact i couldnt take it anymore but now i a 24/7/jhob i have kids and i keep them on a tight scudlue so i know if i have time to mange my time

TURDUCKEN!

We live in Louisiana and I am practical all year, trying to be frugal and eat relatively healthy. There isn't much I indulge in; however, I was given a gift certificate one year to a local meat specialty store. I didn't know what to purchase, so I ask for their recommendation. It was a turducken. A turkey stuffed with a boneless duck, boneless chicken, and pork dressing. So, now when I am preparing my budget for the holidays I always add my turducken to the list.
