Re: [Everything doTERRA] gums infected !?

Yes - I agree, you do have to be careful with Birch.  I have a friend who also has had two different experiences where a child fell against a table, almost knocking out the tooth in one instance, and used Birch both times.  Saved the tooth and gums both times.
So, probably not good for a prolonged use - but can sure sooth the area and heal quickly.

I didn't mention Birch because a few of the ingredients might not be great for
a child. I have used Birch after I scratched an area of my gum, it was better
right away and I never had to reapply. I love Birch!!

My mom has used Birch Oil in the past and just put a little on the finger and place on gums.  That has sure helped her with tooth infections in the past.

Can you teach her to pull? Using a little bit of water and clove and OnGuard
have her put it in her mouth and without swallowing swish the liquid around
the mouth, have her push and pull it between the teeth and over the gums.
She could do this every couple of hours and put OnGuard and Roman
chamomile on her feet and along her jawline on her face. You can also
use Roman chamomile with the mouth pulling, it is really good for tooth
and gum problems.

My sweet 6 year old started complaining of pain in her gums above her
front tooth. When I looked her tooth was loose as was a bottom front
tooth. The gum around each tooth was red and swollen. Friday night it
became more painful. Today (Saturday) it was very painful and her
cheek was a little swollen. My sister is a dental assistant ( for Dr.
Ulm in Lindon who is a holistic dentist) She explained to me that baby
teeth have two roots and when the permanent tooth comes in it
dissolves the roots and they fall out. But if the tooth comes in
crooked or at an angle it may only dissolve one and the other can
become irritated and sometimes infected. So we went in and she took
pictures, nothing else looked wrong and the teeth are coming in quite
crooked. The solution, pull the loose irritated teeth. There was white
puss and it was not fun to do, so now for my question ! She is still
in pain and the infection is quite bad. I put clove and fco on a paper
towel and had her bight on it for a while. Tonight I put FCO on her
neck( because it now hurts there too) with melaleuca, oregano,
lavender, and clove. I know clove should do amazing things but what
method of application do I use? It's awkward working in her mouth any
suggestions would be great.
