involving eyes. We are advised against ever putting oils into the eye,
and even around them, we have to be careful. I managed to scratch my
cornea under my contact lens this weekend, and by Saturday night, it
was really painful, red and weeping. I went ahead and carefully
applied lavender and melaleuca around my eye, because I'm pretty tough
and knew if it 'got to me", that it wouldn't last. That helped a lot.
Then I had a "brilliant" idea, and that's what I want to share! It
occurred to me to put my eye directly in the mist stream of my
diffuser. I was running Purify in it at the time. I just bent over it
and blinked several times, repeating this off and on over the day as I
ran the machine. It seems to me like it has really made a difference.
For one thing, the redness has greatly reduced, and the itchy-scratchy
feeling is totally gone now.
I would be interested to hear other's experiences if you decide to try
this for eye problems. I am thinking it would be useful for dry eye,
allergies and other related problems.
