[Everything doTERRA] Re: Roman Chamomile

I also think it's a good idea to sometimes post and let others who are doing the same thing realize that most essential oil info on the internet is so wrong - that was hard for me at first, I couldn't believe how much was wrong out there but then realized that the problem was there were no certified pure oils out there so our oils are unique and so we need to teach people that there is a huge difference in oils bought at a health food store and our oils.

Most people like me think they are reading from the right manual - an essential oil manual from stuff they find on the internet.  That's the problem and I love your email where you explain that and list sources for people like Rob's book and Kellie's book and your book  - only a few real sources in the midst of so much on the internet.  Thanks so much for all you and Rob and others do to let us have this info because we won't find it anywhere else and I'm still learning that - can you list the book names and authors of Robs and Kellie's and your book and any others that you know of so I can cut and paste that info?

It will be so nice when all our great doTERRA info sites are up and running! In the meantime, we have Rob's book, Kellie's book and our new AromaTools book. The properties of the oil will help us discern if it will help stimulate or calm different systems. But I have learned that if I am going to drive a Chevy, I need to consult the Chevy manual instead of the Dodge manual.

This is actually a concern most of us had from doTERRA's beginning: even research done with higher quality oils didn't even scratch the surface of what our amazing oils are doing. There were still a lot of fears then which we don't have to buy into with the purity and gentle nature of doTERRA essential oils.

You are remarkable, Kathy! You are a learner. This company is still a baby, but I'm sorry the tools have not all been solidly in place to fit your appetite for information. But they are still coming, they are excellent, and you can share them easily!

This is where I got the info - that's exactly why I asked because there is so much wrong info on the internet - thanks for letting me know!

Kathy, I am wondering where you heard that Roman Chamomile is a uterine stimulant? it is so important to only use credible sources-- there is so much bad information out there!

Roman Chamomile has been used for generations in calming and relaxing teas and tinctures, even for stopping trauma-induced premature labor. It is in our Serenity blend, excellent for mommies and babies alike. Again, I will not hesitate to use it for and with my moms.

LOL - I guess we'll wait and find out!  I just emailed Dr. Lawton about something else, I guess I could email her again!

I have heard Roman  is a uterine stimulant so shouldn't be used during pregnancy - is this true?
