I don't know if anyone has answered you yet...
I saw on the Information about the Lotus Diffuser that on the bottom of the
handout it says, "A study that was done where researchers created a
controlled environment and released 16 different germs into the air
including bacteria and viruses.  They diffused essential oils into the air
and within 12 minutes the germs were all dead"
Hopefully that helps you!  If you get any other documentation, I would love
it as well!
