I know exactly what you mean! I smell everything! And when I smell it, it sticks in my nostrils! I can smell smoke for a brief second and will smell smoke for weeks after.
As far as the house smell.... I put a few drops of purify in a spray bottle of water and spray it around the house. I also like to use citrus bliss, lavender, any citrus, and vinegar too! I read somewhere that you can put a few drops of any of these on a cotton ball and put it in your air vent and it helps smells and to keep bugs out. i have tried it a few times and it freshens the rooms.
Good luck... I have outside cats because of my nose :)

I'm not sure what to use, but I fell your pain. I've always been sensitive to smells myself. I just wanted to send a quick reminder though to not use any blend that has Melaleuca as part of it. Melaleuca is NOT good for cats.Thanks!Shannon--
