RE: [Everything doTERRA] Stomach

Sharon -
I went to a seminar on digestive issues and one thing he said (which
surprised me) was that sometimes we don't have 'enough' stomach acid - BUT
it is the "MUCID LINING" in the stomach that is lacking- which is the
barrier that neutralizes the acid in the stomach. He suggested that the
stomach can be repaired over time. He also suggested a product called DGL
or DGL Ultra (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Root) (not the same as plain
licorice root...) (found in health food stores)
He suggested that 2 tablets be taken 15 min before meals and that along with
ENZYME support (yeah for Terrazyme) - which helps break down food, it would
help prevent acid issues. I'm sure Digestzen on the outside of the stomach
could help as well....
I hope that is helpful.
Brooke

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Stomach

My DIL has been quite ill for months with moderate stomach
inflammation. She can hardly eat anything without getting nauseous.
She gets sick every evening. She's now been told that even when she
is sick she must eat so the stomach acid doesn't get stronger. Anyone
have any ideas for me?
