I think too that people get kind of scared of cleansing because they always think it has to be a drastic thing, but when you think about it aren't we always cleansing? Just be smart and gentle.

Keeping the liver clean through pregnancy is a great idea! It is believed that a clogged liver is what causes morning sickness. All those extra hormones get congested and the liver can't keep up. Drinking lemon water is fantastic. It also helps with water retention that can cause swelling. Also Dandelion, and Milk Thistle help the liver and are ok during pregnancy. Mountain Rose Herbs has a tincture with these that I use. Hope that helps!
