You can pretty much treat your animals the same as yourself using much less of the oil and being more cautious with cats. There are a large amount of threads on this forum that would be very helpful to you. Just do a search for dogs or cats.
Another helpful tip is how to muscle test your animal. Open the oil that you are considering using and then call your animal. If the oil would not be good for your animal he will not want to be near that oil.
If for instance you wanted to lower or raise their blood sugar you could open the bottle of Coriander, it they come right to you and jump up then you would put one drop on your finger tips and rub the finger tips together and then run your finger tips on their front paws.
