For fat loss, The Four Hour Body by Tim Ferriss is a an easy to follow program no matter how you like to eat, meat or vegan.  Most important is a high protein breakfast (30 grams of protein).  A double serving of Trim Shakes will cover that.  It makes one pig out day a week mandatory so it is easy to eat healthy for 6 days and "cheat" for one.  It's worked for some of my clients quite well.  Read the book before you judge it or post back please since these couple sentences cannot possibly explain all the science behind it!
