Tamanu oil would make a good carrier as well as healing oil. It's great for scars or mix it with coconut.  Add patchouli, helichrysm and wild orange for rejuvenating the skin.  I too have had success with Vitamin E oil, just squeezing it out of the capsules and applying twice daily.  Not the same kind of scar but I had old burn scars, like huge brown freckles all down my leg that went away after about 4-6 months.  Apply with love!
