bottom of their feet so they are less likely to smell it. I really like
the idea having them choose an oil they like too, it goes along with the
idea that the body knows what it needs.
Other things that work really well but are hard to implement... Diet. It
does get said a lot but it really does make a difference. Switch to
organic foods as much as possible, especially meat and dairy. I think
the hormones do really effect the growth of our children and make them
mature faster. I was a disbeliever until my oldest started blossoming in
junior high, she comes from a family of late bloomers on both sides. We
made the switch and my younger daughter hasn't had the same experience.
Also try and have as much whole grain and unprocessed foods as possible.
Eliminate as much refined sugar and all artificial sweeteners. Stevia is
okay. Now with most of the grocery stores trying to accommodate and
stores like Trader Joes there are a lot more options.
If you want you can also start a journal and note which dates she
becomes snarky and see if there is a pattern. Sometimes they develop a
pattern which will mirror their cycle later when it starts. If there is
a pattern I am a big advocate of giving chocolate, it really seems to help.
