Pubmedpublishes an abstract on on-guard and the flu. Bottom line is
on-guard Reduced the number of viral particles released from MDCK
cells was reduced up to 90% based on the dilution ratio. Oil treatment
of the virus also decreased direct infection of the cells.
Further, although on-guard was not totally effective in keeping virus
from entering the cell, it did stop virally infected cells from
replicating.
Pretty cool stuff!
