My next purchase is going to be a laundry ball that eliminates the need for soap entirely. http://www.smartkleanlaundry.com/ I saw them at a health show recently and especially if you have a front end loader they work really well and it keeps mold down. I've tried oils in the washer but to no avail. Lemon and orange are known for grease cutting abilities though. Just be careful and test surfaces first.
I suspect we will eventually have some cleaners from doTERRA though:-)

Holy moly... My head is spinning! I've spent hours upon hours lately
looking up cleaning products and cosmetic products and I feel like I
need to just go lock me and my little family up into a bubble now!
There is so much conflicting information out there. As soon as I feel
like I have an answer to something, I find something telling me the
opposite. Now I just need some tips and suggestions and advice from
those with actual experience cause trying to figure this all out on my
own is gonna land me in the looney bin!
I thought I had the whole cleaning products thing figured out and I
have been making my own using the doterra oils, water, borax, baking
soda and some seventh generation soap. But then I just found that
seventh generation uses Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and almost everything I
read about that sounds horrible.
That lead me to look up all the cosmetic products we use, things like
toothpaste, shampoo, lotion, body wash, hand soap, etc...
Yikes! I never realized in my blissful ignorance how toxic everything
is! Even the stuff that markets itself as being all natural turns out
to not be so...
I'm now thinking that making my own stuff with the doterra oils is
going to be something I want to do if possible. It seems pretty
pointless to use such an amazing product like doterra oils while I
then slather myself, my family and my home in chemicals all day, ya
know??
So seventh generation brand is out of the question now, does anyone
have any recommendations as to how I go about this?? While I was
trying to look this stuff up the brand Dr Bronners came up a few
times. Anyone have any experience with this brand? Maybe I could just
add the doterra oils to the soap? I'm not too sure if they offer a
lotion I could add the oils to as well?
I'm not trying to be a total extremist but just informed and smart
about what I'm using for my family and I.
So any suggestions for how I can incorporate the doterra oils into
safe and natural soaps/lotions/toothpaste would be super helpful!
All I know for sure at this point is that doterra is the only thing I
am confident in. I'm scared of everything else now :(
Thank you!!
