[Everything doTERRA] Re: GX-Assist and PB-Assist... how is it actually supposed to work??

I just read a book, "The Yeast Sydrome" which I purchased at
AromaTools. It is fascinating, and really explains the connection
between candida and many health conditions such as eczema, acne,
autoimmune disorders, and many others. I was having skin issues,
among several other symptoms which I finally identified as yeast
related. In the book, it explains the process known as candida "die
off" and how many people can become very sick during this process.
For many, their yeast related symptoms become FAR worse before they
get better. This is actually a sign that the treatment is probably
working.

For ME, I decided to incorporate some of the suggestions in the book,
along with the GX protocol, in addition to LOTS of water. Basically,
I cut out ALL sugar for a few weeks. This included even fruit. I
also eliminated dairy, and all gluten, breads, etc. Basically, I ate
only eggs, vegetables, meats, and yogurt. I tried to drink 100 oz of
water per day, and also used Slim and Sassy or a citrus oil in the
water (lemon, lime, grapefruit). These are the foods (especially
sugar/bread) that feed candida and help it to colonize and flourish
throughout your body. There are other things that also help candida
grow such as antibiotics, steroids, birth control pills, etc.

My results were dramatic, but it required strict adherence to the GX
protocol, in addition to the dietary changes. In the book, there is
also a recommendation to take an antifungal medication, like
Nystatin. I was only going to do that as a last resort, and so far I
haven't needed to, as the GX protocol is really working for me. I
plan to repeat the GX protocol monthly, until I know that my candida
is truly under control. I suspect this may just be a maintenance
protocol that I will follow forever. I think eventually, I will be
able to do it every 3 months. I would suggest reading the book, if
you get a chance. It really helped me.

Good luck.
