Re: [Everything doTERRA] Digest for everythingdoterra@googlegroups.com - 21 M...

Debbie, I am assuming he is already taking LOTS of EFA's and avoiding ALL dairy, sugar, grains (esp wheat) and soy, in addition to anything else they are aware of that he might be allergic to?  Then I'd approach carefully, heavily diluted with clear skin and or lavendar.  He also needs LOTS of probiotics and GXassist to clear the yeast factor.  I also almost always include some colloidal silver topically and internally.  I find with such extreme cases there are numerous factors involved.  It is not "just eczema" but typically includes parasites, yeast, bacteria, nutritional deficiences and numerous allergies.  They all must be addressed. But they need especially and specifically to eliminate his allergies, ALL OF THEM.  (see www.naet.com). If he can tolerate coconut oils, that can both help the skin due to mcfa factor as well as provide a protective barrier for him.  Some kids love it and some kids it seems to burn.  Try a small spot first, then maybe one finger, then a hand, working your way up to see how he does.  I also find some can tolerate the fco but not other, while some do better with the cold-pressed "hard stuff" but not the fco. Also Standard Process has an ointment called USF Ointment that some respond well to.  Eczema is a tough one but it can be brought under control and even eliminated over time.  It is a process and takes consistency but it can be done.  Hope this helps some!

I have friend who has a 4 year old son who has suffered with Ecxema since birth and he has seasons where it is so much worse than at other times. Now is one of those seasons. If they take him to a doctor it takes event he doctor a very long time to get it under control and they end up having to giving him a very strong antibiotic to clear up the infection that actually develops  on the skin from his sores that he scratches and also a steroid cream that his parents are scared of. They are at that point right now and this child is crying and miserable. He is so bad on his hands, feet and ankles. Is there a protocol that his mom could use on him with the oils to stave off having to go to the doctor and getting these very dangerous drugs that barely give them relief in the short haul. He is in a very bad way today and need some serious help to get him some relief.

Hi! I 've been asked to talk at the next meeting of my Country Womens
meeting about my doTERRA oils and I thought what a perfect opportunity
to make or bake something in foodline that I can take for supper -
using the oils of course. We are not a big group but I thought what a
great way to share another aspect of using oils!
    Thanks for your thoughts!

Which oils are your favorite for helping kids with ADHD and Autism?
My niece has two children and the kids love Clary Sage, but the mother
finds lavender and frankincense is helping. What have you tried and
    succeeded with?

I just got a phone call today from a lady wanting to know what to
recommend to a women whose is pregnant and experiencing severe
constipation. She said she has bleeding hemorrhoids and all. This
women has had no prenatal care and I don't know how far along she is.
I know peppermint isn't good for milk supply, correct? What would be
the best thing and how should she use it? Thx!

I would suggest DigestZen rubbed on her lower abdomen (in a clockwise
    motion)
then apply a warm moist compress. Repeat every hour until relief is found.
Also 3-4 drops of DZ in a swig of water.

As for the bleeding Hemorrhoids apply Frankincense of a cotton pad
to the affected area. It will sting a little but not for long and will feel
    so much better.

Basil neat on the breast avoiding nipple area works great to increase
breast milk. Apply several times a day. Make sure you are eating
enough calories. BF moms need to increase calories by 500 and get LOTS
    of fluids.

How would one go about becoming an IPC if they are currently a
    preferred customer?

    Patricia Leavitt <doterradiscover@gmail.com> Sep 28 04:43PM -0600 ^

They have to sign up as an IPC. Thats it, really easy and they get no credit
    from being a PC.

I have the same question, because they are already assigned a number, does that number transfer somehow?

From what I have heard, they forfeit the $10 they paid to be a preferred
customer and the number does not carry over to their being an IPC.  They will
obviously quickly make up the $10 in the 25% IPC discount as opposed to the 10%
preferred customer discount, so this shouldn't be a fear.

They do not get it back. I know it seems cruel but that is how it is. I
    never sign up PC.
They might as well get the whole discount.
Of course if you think she is worth having on your line you can always offer
    her the
$10.00 if she sign up as an IPC.

An herbal remedy for bleeding. . . Sprinkle an 1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper in
4 oz water. . . Drink and in less than 30 seconds the bleeding should stop.

I was so glad to read the posts on peppermint and bleeding. I had been
drinking lemon and peppermint every morning before breakfast for a couple of
months to cleanse my liver. Then I thought if it's good to do once a day
maybe my liver will cleanse even faster if I take it three times a day
before each meal. I NEVER get bloody noses, but in two days I got two SEVERE
bloody noses. It really scared me. I was afraid I would need to go to the
hospital to get them to stop. The only thing I could figure was causing it
was the peppermint. I don't know why or how I came to that conclusion,
because I'm very new to EO, but I did. Anyway, I stopped taking peppermint
three times a day and went back to once and day and I haven't had anymore
    problems.

I could not figure out how to add to current posts.
    Regarding breast milk production,,,fennel seeds.
You can sprinkle them on salads or put them in a tea strainer and seep
them to make a tea. You wil need to add sweetner of some type.
I am sure when fennel oil becomes available to us this will be part of
    its uses.
You could also put fennel seeds in capsule as an option.
    Hope this idea helps.

Frankincense is a great suggestion, I would also suggest a good cleanse, and
Drinking plenty of water with citrus oils for pulling chemicals from his body.

My husband snores & he uses Breathe under his nose and on his chest and it
really helps, you can also diffuse breathe in the bedroom at night.
    Hope that helps!
