RE: [Everything doTERRA] Have YOU used Basil or Fennel oil for increasing milk supply? Medical Study needs your input!!

I have tried both.  I tried Basil accidentally by ingesting it in conjunction with some other oils to get rid of a cold and saw a pretty big increase in milk.  I tried fennel after my baby had been sick and barely nursing at all for several days.  My supply had dropped quite a bit, but it came back up quickly and without my daughter having to nurse tons.  She did nurse a little more frequently than usual, but only for about a day.  I used it for 3 days and ended up with an oversupply:)  I think it works!  It's worth mentioning though, that I don't usually have supply problems and I'm not sure that oils were necessary in either case, but I feel that my supply came back up more quickly than it would have without the fennel.
