Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: young child behavioral issues

I would just add that for some Vetiver works really well for refocusing
and can sometimes be stimulating so I personally would try it late
afternoon and log effect before treating at night. I've also had success
with Balance. Another odd chose that works well is Terrashield on wrist
pulse points. Someone, and it probably was on this list mentioned
classrooms diffusing lemon in gifted classrooms. Some none oil tips,
silly putty, hackysack or stress balls, bracelet with plastic beads or
non-noisy charms. Sometimes you have a high energy child instead of an
ADHD child. Many have to to multi-task to be able to focus on one thing.
For middle school and up in classrooms if they take a lot of notes it
can help. My little ADHD test is to give the kid a cocacola, if they
bouce off the walls they are just high energy. No difference, ADHD is a
strong possibility. (Stimulants cause focus instead of hyperness).
Just have to add, in my opinion, ADHD should not be diagnosed by a
physician only. Testing with a psychology who specializes is mandatory
for a true result.

PS - I have one of each a ADHD and a high energy.
