Re: [Everything doTERRA] Need help with sleeping pill addiction

In addition to the excellent oil suggestions, if your friend has been
taking Ambien, generic or otherwise, for more than 60 days she will
likely need to taper. Depending on how long she has taken it, it can be
a very lengthy process. I had taken it daily for over 7 years and it
took me 8 months to wean off of it. If she has been taking it for a long
time like me she may have to start by just scraping a bit off with a
razor blade and continuing that dose for a week and each week after
increasing the number of scrapes. The side effects if you taper faster
are horrific. In theory she shouldn't have been allowed to take it that
long but sometimes people slip through the cracks.
