[Everything doTERRA] Depression in skin

I have a friend that in the last month has had a spot develop on her
back. It is in the rib area towards the side, at bottom of bra line,
it does not itch or hurt in any way. The area is an absence of sorts,
it is like an area about the size of an almond (with shell) has been
removed from under the skin. There is a slight darkening of the skin
in this 'hole'. The doctors do not know what it is, they said maybe
she had the depression from leaning on something, but it does not
correct and does not change location.

Does anyone have any idea what it is or if/how to treat it? Thank
you!
