Re: [Everything doTERRA] Proctalgia Fugax

There are a number of oils that work for spasms, I would have him do some on hands
testing. The next time he is having this type of spasm have him put oil right on the affected
area.
I think I would suggest starting with Frankincense on a cotton square and rub it on the area. If this does
not give you the immediate relief if should then I would try Cypress and Lavender next time.
You will eventually find the calming oil and as you use it you will find that the episodes will be
further apart and less painful.
That is the beauty of essential oils. They give you body what it needs to heal itself.

My husband occasionally suffers from an attack of proctalgia fugax.
The pain is sometimes described as an "anal charlie horse," an anal
cramp or an anal spasm.  He can now tell when it is coming on, but the
doctor had no suggestions for easing the discomfort (which is intense)
and we don't know what triggers it.  I am brand new to doTERRA, and
would love to find a way to ease his pain when it happens.
