Try to eat as raw and natural as possible. No dyes, no artificial sweeteners, no soda pop and if possible no sugars, or cut out drastically. Does he play video games? There is proof of chemical changes that take place in the brain from video games. My son has an addiction, even though we have never had them in our home. He played them at his friend's homes and even their parents thought we were up in the night for not allowing them. Some children are more prone to addictions than others and he is one of them. The gaming addiction changes the chemicals in the brain just like other addictions. It is a long process and they have to be willing to do it.
