Re: [Everything doTERRA] DigestZen question

I believe that DigestZen has fennel, which is one of the 4 essential oils people with seiures should avoid. Rosemary, sage, fennel and hyssop are the four. My mom researched this pretty deeply, as my brother has seizures.

Frankincense has been the #1 oil to help prevent for my brother. He wrote on a big whiteboard at home "FRANKINCENSE DAILY!!" He has to avoid OnGuard (rosemary), PastTense (rosemary), DigestZen (fennel), and Zendocrine (rosemary). I don't know about ClearSkin, as I don't have a bottle handy to look at. Also I'm not clear if clary sage is a seizure risk oil or not, as I believe I've read that it's different from regular sage.

My friend has a 6yo who has colitis and other GI issues.  She also
suffers from seizures.  They first thought the seizures were due to
fevers and she would grow out of them but as she's getting older
they're now more frequent and don't occur only with a fever.  Tests
are being done, but no diagnosis as of yet.  She had been using
DigestZen for her GI problems and it was helping.  However, I read in
the Modern Essentials book that those who have epilepsy should not use
DigestZen.  I was wondering if anyone knows why that is and if we
should be concerned that she was using it?
