from a painful fibrosis condition called Peyronie's Disease. He is in
the early stages of it and is getting treatment for it, but what the
medication he takes is supposed to do is prevent the condition from
getting any worse. That is all. It's not meant to actually heal the
condition. The only "medications" out there that could possibly
reverse it are in the experimental stages/clinical trials right now
and you have to pay for them out of your own pocket as well as he
would have to take the medication for the rest of his life. My husband
is only 30 years old! I could really use some advice. I fear for his
self-esteem, since this is typically a side effect of having this
rare, male-only condition. Another thing that is already suffering is
our sex life (TMI?) because of the pain it inflicts upon him. Any
advice would be appreciated.
