They should be put in jail and the key should be thrown away! That is
awful.

I personally think she should be arrested immediately and put in general
population with all the mothers that have had their children taken away from
and the women that are unable to conceive. How horrid! I won't even leave my
son alone in the living room while I go to the bathroom.

These women make me sick..... I cant put into words what should be done to them, but I guess it doesn't matter because whatever is done won't be enough. My heart breaks for the children as it does for so many. I wish people who just didn't care were not able to have any. anyways.........Jody

The Crackhead need to go to jail, both of them, why would they leave 2
babies alone in the house by themselves?

Forgive me if this one was posted, but try Coupons.com.

I also went on Facebook and typed in coupons and there was 71 links for coupons.

What is the blog things about coupons.  I must have missed some of the posts?

Last week it took me two hours and five stores to get everything I needed at good prices.  This week I wasn't up to it and went to Walmart.  I wished I had put it off until feel better because I spent more and got LESS!

Thanks,

Schools not  noticing sick children

With the swine flu outbreak you would think teachers would see a child that is sick. I picked my 6 year old daughter up Friday. She was falling asleep in the car. thats unusuall for her. I took her to the doctors, she tested positive for the flu. Here's the funny thing I asked the doctor if it was the swine flu, she said I couldn't really tell you. I asked why? She said medicad doesn't cover the testing if you want to spend $350.00 on the test we will send it off to find out.My question is how does everyone who has the swine flu know thats what it is, did they spend the money to find out no matter what insurance they are on?

Myself and a group of 20 came back from Mexico with flu-like symptoms and of course they were all paranoid that they HAD Swine Flu but I called my doctor just because of the grandkids and not wanting to contaminate anyone. I was told that the only way they diagonse it is if you go to the emergency room or are admitted into the hospital. Trust me, it wasn't the Swine Flu but they all went around saying it.
Anyway, that is typical of the testing because there are so many strains of flu's that is why they have to charge.

I had the swine flu & so did my daughter, who lives & goes to college in another city, & my insurance covered both tests... Swabs in the mouth? we were so sick for about 3 weeks ... In bed ... Not moving ...

Hope your daughter feels better. This flu sucks. I got my babies the shot and vac (in the nose) so they didn't get it. feel better soon.

exhausted by trying to eat right

Posted by: "Lori Brock" loribrock1967@yahoo.com   raising3kidz

Why is it so easy to eat junk but is so exhausting to eat healthy?  I had an evaluation done a few weeks back and it showed that I am in yeast overload.  That is why I haven't felt well since the birth of my last son, almost four.  It is also the culprit for the weight I haven't been able to loose dispite my efforts of exercise and eating right.

The yeast is an easier fix, but the sugar?  Everything we are exposed to has sugar!  I recently found out that iodized salt even has a trace of sugar even though not listed on the label.  I am tired and exhausted, and financially drained trying to feel better.  Maybe because I am sick today, it is more overwhelming.

Any imput greatly appreciated!
Thoughts and Prayers,
Lori

Hi everybody
My name is Ioana (Romanian name) and I live in Holland, Europe:-)
nice to meet you all
I am a member of this group for a while but I was just reading until now, being very busy with my son, Victor, 5 month.
I am a single mom (became single when my partner broke up with me in my 7th moth of pregnancy) and I worked as an architect since I finished faculty in '95). I am now almost 40 years old and I want to start working from home, mainly "weird stuff", emotional portrets and so, flufy spiritual things:-)

Great group, great idea! Thank you!

I actually write to comment on two recent messages, one from Lori and another one over the swine flu..

Lori,
I do not think it is more difficult to eat healthy, it is just that the "official" lines make it more difficult.. everything that is "main stream" tends to be full with all kind of things our bodies do not thrive by, just because main stream means that they had (have) to make super profit, the more, the better.. so they stuff the food with everything possible, just to make it cheap for them - so that from the "cheap" price that you pay main stream, they gain more and more. Sad but true.
I built this opinion after some years of struggle with my own things (read: eating).. In Romania we had quite a few years of real hunger, can't describe it but pretty much we had nothing to eat.. Than things changed and as we can now find food in the supermarket, slowly we realise that there is a choice, that we have to make a choice in not to eat anything, because that's not healthy..
I think it is easier to know what's inside products if you go organic.. there are less "hidden" ingredients in those products, simply because the controls are more thorough, because these products are more expensive (and the "main stream" wants for the organic market not to thrive, so they have more teste for the organic than for the ususal products)..
And try to get back to basics..Everything that is a bit "worked out" is with a lot of extra things that you do not want to eat, trust me. If you go to the vegetables, fruit, meat and fish, you will discover that it gets easier and you can start trusting what you eat.. A word of warning, leaving sugar and getting read of yeast can be an exausting and full of pain process in the beginnig, but after a while you will feel free.. You go, girl!

and about the flu:
Oh My God! so this test is 350$??? You could not say that they work hard at not making this flu spread, isn't it? they want to force us to take the vaccine that was not yet enough tested and all that, but a test is 350$ and yes, if you don't order it, well, it's your problem???
this does not sound like logic to me!!!! and it definitely does not sound like they would like to stop the flu spreading!!! (the so called pandemic)

First calm down, you are stressing yourself out even more and that also contributes to the way you feel. Just make a decision that you will try to be conscious of what you eat and you can't possibly get rid of it all but if you start evaluating how you feel after you eat something or how much of it you eat and write it down. I love glazed doughnuts but you know what? After I eat them, for some reason, I get heartburn. Not all, just certain one's. I guess it's in the ingredients in each place that makes them. I actually write down somethnig like felt queezy, felt stuffed, too filling, could have eaten half and been satisfied. Keep a small 50 cent notebook in your purse. I still eat a glazed doughnut on occasion, just not the ones that affect me or I only eat half a bagel or very little pineapple.

Just like if you don't exercise a lot or daily but can walk 1-2 a week, it may not make a BIG difference but-- "Baby Steps" get us up and going eventually, right? You will be fine. Go at your pace even if you don't keep track everyday, "Baby Steps". I hope this helps, I'm 52 and have 4 grown boys and grandkids and still learning from all the young moms here!

Good Luck!

There's one I'd never thought of - Chile pepper! I've always kept my oatmeal toppings on the sweet side, but perhaps I'm missing out?

What is your favorite tip for staying organized during the holidays?

It can get really hectic trying to plan around Halloween and all the parties that go with it, planning for family get-togethers for Thanksgiving and end-of-year holidays, plus keeping all of the "regular" stuff on-track. Work still has to be done, and there's school, homework, and... ack!!

Share your tips for staying sane and organized through the holiday chaos!
