[Everything doTERRA] Re: Tonsils and Adenoids

I guess my logical brain says you can't shrink tonsils, just like you
couldn't shrink a toe that was too big. :) I know the oregano works
for infections and brings down swelling, but she doesn't have any. I
will take your advice Jan and be very careful.

Ramona:

From what I have learned, the tonsils and adenoids tends to go through
a growth spurt when children are five and again when they are around
12-14 years of age. This is why many children start having sleep
problems related to tonsils when they start kindergarten. Some
children can grow into their tonsils. It then has to become a quality
of life issue. My daughter has already had a rough 4 years, and it
seems to be worsening. She would have 3-5 more years of barely
functioning and no guarantee that it would resolve. And since me, her
mom, have some of the largest tonsils around, her outlook doesn't look
so good. :) We went to Dr. Pfeffer (Pediatric Sleep Specialists) for
her sleep study. She gives you a very thorough report and goes
through it with you step by step. I have never had so much thorough
information and explanations from a doctor. Refreshing. I will let
you know about the oregano.

If anyone has more information or ideas, I would love to hear.

Thanks.

Alma

I usually take two to three drops and fill the rest of the capsule with the FCO. I would start out with one drop, once a day for 21 days. Then rest for 7 days. See if she still needs it. Also, you can put the oil on topically on the throat and back of neck and adinoids-right behind ears,...but again...use the FCO. Becare ful not to get any oil near front of ears. Use a roll-on applicator with the mixture in it. I would go 20/50 and maybe 80. So one drop oregano to 30 drops FCO or two drops to 50 FCO. Try it topically first because it is hot hot hot!!!!
