Today I spoke with a lady who said that oregano can help shrink
tonsils. Is this true?
Background: Nine year old daughter's tonsils and adenoids are really
large and cause blockage when see sleeps at night. We did a sleep
study and have seen specialists. The tonsils and adenoids are not
swollen due to infections. She never gets throat or tonsil
infections. We were planning a surgery next month to remove them.
Her lack of good sleep, or at times lack of any sleep, is severely
interfering with her normal functioning. She is exhausted and
miserable. We do use oils to help her get a better sleep.
The lady and I may have misunderstood each other. I know oregano will
help with infections and inflammation, etc. I have used it and had
much success. She suggested a drop a day in back of mouth. I would
appreciate help from anyone with knowledge of this.
