Same story for me - I used oils for soaps and used organic essential oils and felt sooo good that I wasn't using the fragrance oils.
I tried them in my bath and for headaches and they did nothing so I really had no interest in them as I didn't believe in them.
It wasn't until my friend Janie was telling me about them and I started doing some research that I realized there was a more pure form available and that most producers/sources made them or distilled incorrectly/more cheaply as they were to be used for soaps and crafts. I was SOOOOO excited to learn about doTerra oils and that I could actually learn to use them to restore health and help my family and friends - wow, I was hooked!

I am new to doTERRA essential oils. Before that, I used oils to make
my own household cleaners and personal hygiene products. I used the
oils available at the health food store. I didn't even know there was
another option. SO when my friends started talking about all of these
great things the oils can used for I got pretty excited. I already had
some. I put grapefruit oil in my water and within minutes my mouth
was fuzzy and numb feeling. I decided my friends were nuts. Then I
went to a Dr. Mom class. They served grapefruit in the water. It was
delicious and sweet and I felt great. It's probably not a good idea to
test all of the oils in that way, but I am a believer!

everywhere I look they say NO to taking any oils internally. What is the
difference?

aid the body in eliminating harful petrochemicals as well as other harmful
carcinogenics that have become foundational in many of our everyday cosmetic and
hygiene products from shampoos and lotions to toothpaste and cosmetics.
