Everyone I have talked to that tried to make candles with these oils found that in order to have the smell they had to use A LOT of oil. Our oils are for healing and burning them in a candle is such a waste. Using oils that have synthetics or oils meant for fragrances would be what you would want to use. I find my house smells like oils all the time because I spray them on my hard surfaces when cleaning and run my diffuser at least twice daily, I also leave my container of used oils open on my desk and they smell wonderful.

Samara,
Has anyone answered your question yet? In my understanding, the oils are not good for burning, and the fragrance won't last when burned. They lose their potency with heat. That is why they are cold steamed or low or high pressure distilled. If anyone has anything to add to this please jump in and clarify. I wish we could make fragrance candles, but I don't think it will work. I could be wrong. Hopefully someone else will respond to this entry. Good luck,

Has anyone made candles with the oils? I think it would be a great
gift for neighbors as Christmas is coming up.
