Re: [Everything doTERRA] hair loss

I have Hashimoto's (hypothyroidism) and have learned that it can contribute to thinning hair... So you may want to see which oils are good for thyroid as well.

I too am dealing with extreme hair loss and it is just awful!  It started in June for me.  My first action was to be perfectly consistent with the LLV. I had already been taking them for 2 years, but sometimes missed a few days.  I was also using the shampoo/conditioner and so I have continued that.  I used rosemary multiple times a day, with no change.  I finally gave in, in October and found a doctor, because I wasn't getting the results I needed and was seriously losing so much hair it was getting harder and harder to hide.  I went to a holistic doctor who uses a machine, much like the concept of muscle testing.  He found that my thyroid, adrenals, immune system and liver were all low functioning.  He had me do temperatures, every morning to confirm the thyroid and my temperatures were more than a point lower than they were supposed to be.  I had also been dealing with yeast infections since June, so I upped my candida treatments, completely changed my diet, etc.  Within 2 weeks, I did have some hair growth back in the first section that I lost.  I'm still losing some hair and I still have lots of patches to regrow, but I feel like I'm on the right track.  I am using lots of doterra products, as well as the supplements he has subscribed.

Long story short, I think everything that has been mentioned can help and may fix the issue for her, but it may take time and maybe even more.  I think it is important for her to know the cause (autoimmune, thyroid, candida, all 3, etc.) so she can deal with those issues. I hope that makes sense and I hope she finds relief. I know how hard it is to even want to leave the house when dealing with this issue.  I will also be watching this thread for any other ideas that others might have!

The Sanobella Shampoo and Conditioner. And put a drop or two of Rosemary in the palm of your hand with the shampoo and work it in.

I did a class last night and a lady wants to enroll, she is having
extreme hair loss, I know the book says lavendar and rosemary, which I
have been using on myself and don't notice a difference, is there
something better I can recommend to her? Thanks,
