Rachel, maybe this is a silly question, but did you mean to type "immune" system & not "immense" system?  Just wondering?

Sometimes with a fever, it needs to get high enough to stimulate the immense system to be on "high-alert." We found that letting it get high sometimes helps and then applying the peppermint oil with a cool pack.
