I have used the spray bottle method that Pat mentions; as well as deconstructing a commercial bug repellant device to use for Terra Shield. Take the blue fan unit, remove the chemical carrier, wash thoroughly, and put a couple of drops of Terra Shield on the part that held the bug spray.Reassemble and use according to manufacturers' directions. I have also simply put a drop on top of my head, and mosquitoes flew around but did not land on me.
