| Erica, my husband just got over the same thing, only his blood clot was deep vein thrombosis (DVT). We used frankincense and lavender on the cellulitis and it took most of the redness away. He was on long-term antibiotics and "rat poison", but we looked online and used natural blood-thinning vegetables. We don't know how much pain he would have been in (other than the fact he was so sick he almost died) because he's paralyzed from the chest down. I have attached a file with a picture of his leg at the beginning of treatment (after he came home from the hospital). Oh, I would try cypress on the clot. Good luck!
