I second All About Spelling and All about Reading and Phonics Pathways. 

We have used them with my daughter who is 10yrs and she reads well now and boy does she struggle. We also use First Language Lessons-grammar and Writing WIth ease(writing) and now Writing Tales (more writing).

We use Jacob's Ladder for comprehension. 

There is no over night cure for this. 

It takes persistent one to one instruction. 

Focus: Wild Orange, Vetiver, Intune, Balance, Rosemary, Peppermint, Citris Bliss

All these can help. I don;t have one specific one because I use them all constantly and she seems to be doing much better since.

There's a website called All About Learning that has both reading and spelling programs that may explain things better. We homeschool and plan to explore this program.

i've also used bergamot on my 5yo, back of the neck, to help with attention/focus. she had her best archery score that time :)

Client with 15 year old wonderful young man....no behavior problems, good
in all subjects in school but Reading and spelling are almost impossible
for him...Has anyone ever heard of this....Does anyone know which oils work
on which side of the brain and which side of the brain controls the
 reading spelling?
