My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and has a horrible wet sounding cough, runny nose and congestion. She is also running a low grade fever on and off. This has been going on (on and off) for almost 3 months now (since daycare started). I used 1:1 drop of peppermint w/FCO, then 1:1 of lemon w/FCO and 3:1 of oregano w/FCO yesterday layered, one after the other several times plus breathe on her chest and it doesn't seem to be working for the cough/congestion, fever seems ok for now. What do you suggest I use, how often is it applied and how is it applied? Do I mix all the oils together with the FCO or layer them like I have been doing, 1 at a time right after each other? Is there another oil I should be using instead? It may be allergies but since it has been going on so long I don't think it is. Suggestions, please???
