I also have a mini dachshund and at one time she had the same little red itchy bumps so I bathed him and rinsed with 1 Tablespoon baking soda to a quart of water did this several times and have had occurrence only a couple of times over the years. When using the doTerra oils make sure you dilute them down with FCO because our dogs are small I do the same dilute with my corgi's. I use only doTerra oils on my dogs the other brands I would not use, experience before I found out about doTerra oils. Love my 5 dogs I count the paws when I count my blessings.
