Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: doterra testing

Jackie,
Thanks for sending your request to doTerra. I actually forwarded some of the comments on this forum directly to Rob Young. Since doTerra is in the middle of the post convention tour and the Holidays, I am thinking that you will not hear back as quickly as normal. Rob is great to respond, just be patient.
Thanks for the research you did also, your results are much appreciated.

I too am concerned about ingredients in products, and sent an email
suggesting that doTerra get their products tested by EWG.org so they
can advertise if/ when their products are safe from harmful
ingredients.  This would be a BIG selling point.  I never heard back
from anyone. I did a search on EWG and typed in each ingredients from
either the shampoo or the hand cream (don't remember which one now).
All the ingredients except 2 came up as very safe; and the 2 unsafe
ingredients were rated at the middle range for harm, which isn't
terribly bad, but it would have been better if they had a 0 or lower
number.  But doTerra is supposed to be the best of the best so in my
opinion these other products should be made without anything harmful
at all; it hurts doTerra's image. Many people in my circle are
concerned about these things.
