[Everything doTERRA] white spots/balls on throat for days, please help

My husband has white spots that look like little sacks or balls on the
back of his throat. It hurts when ever he swallows and drinks or
eats. Been l ike this for a few days. We have been treating it as
strep throat, with onguard, oregano, .lemon and melaleuca, gargling
all day, drinking it, etc. Nothing seems to help. any ideas??
