My 23 year old Downs Syndrome son came home with it after staying with his friend for 2 days. I was very agressive with the oils over the weekend as he would not stay home from his mission on Monday. I put Melaleuca on the bone under his eye and on his eyelid. I also rub the Melaleuca behind the ear and down the throat. I did that every hour on Saturday and every three hours on Sunday. I made two different capsules. One had 10 drops of Basil the other had 3 drops Melaleuca, 2 drops OnGuard, 2 drops cinnamon and 1 drop Melissa. I had him take the capsules Sat afternoon and evening. On Sunday he did the capsules every 3 hours. Monday morning he was so much better. He took the capsules three times Monday. It is practically cleared up now. I still have him doing the capsules three times a day.
This is what I have done with my 3 year old granddaughter. I put the melaleuca under the eye only with FCO. I don't put it on the eyelid, as 3 year olds are apt to wipe their eyes and get it in them. It won't hurt the eye, but it will sting. My granddaughter can't take capsules, so I would rub the oils on her feet and chest. I then have her drink water all day with lemon in it. She has a plastic sippy, so I make sure the water with the oil doesn't stay in there too long. She recovers quickly. She tells her daycare that her grandma got her better. And I did, thanks to our wonderful oils!

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] yucky cold
My 3 yr old daughter has a terrible cold, she has a yucky cough along
the cold that has settled in her eyes. Her eyes are boogery in the
mornings and sometimes during the day. I was wondering what I could
be doing to help her get over this and help with the systems right
now. I have been using peppermint for her cough and breath on her
feet. Is there anything else I can be doing?
Thanks
