I too have a tilted uterus, but easily carried 6 babies to term (well, not all at once!). The only issue I ever had was that it has harder for them to find the heartbeat before about 15 weeks. They would always do an ultrasound to find the babe! Other than that, it worked just fine. One of my births was even all natural at home.

Hi. I don't know why one would need oils for a tilted uterus. I have one and what I heard from my doctors when I asked about it held true in my experience. I had no problem getting pregnant, in case that's a worry, and I had no problems with my two wonderful pregnancies. It holds a baby just fine, it's just in a different position, and once the baby gets to a certain size, that uterus is going to move so the baby can take up every extra millimeter you have in there, regardless of its position at the beginning of the pregnancy. I know there are some midwives on here who can address this. I am commenting from my own experience. The only issue I had with a tilted pregnancy was with my first, when I had pains one night and learned that it was my uterus basically un-tipping. It didn't last long, friends of mine with tilted uteruses (uteri?) never had that, and it didn't happen with my second pregnancy. Just my experience. Having a tilted uterus is incredibly common, from the informal conversations I have had with lots of people and with various OB/GYN's. Hope it helps. --Laura
