Re: [Everything doTERRA] Psoriasis

Thank you so much for answering, it's funny our doctor had us giving her tar baths every night and a few nights ago we ran out and the pharmacy couldn't get any more in for a few days, and in those few days we noticed that she did better! I have probiotics in powered form, did you put it in any particular food? And the epsom salt, is that the stuff you can just buy at any store?
Thank you!
Helen

My daughter had very severe psoriasis from the time she was tiny. Water is her worst enemy for drying skin. Start by putting her in baths with dead sea salt or epsom salt mixed with lavender, geranium and if you have rose that would be wonderful. Also, make sure she gets plenty of probiotics to build her immune system. Because of the stress of an orphanage and adoption it sounds like she needs plenty of calming oils to help her and her system feel safe and secure.

But salts in the bath are a must. My daughter did not take about without bath salts for her first 2-3yrs of life. Her skin is now beautiful and free from any sores.

Hello everyone, I am new to this group and new to the doTERRA  oils. I
joined to not only to help myself with my health but my family. To
make a long story short we recently adopted a little girl from China.
Two months before we were to pick her up the orphanage informed us
that she had a rash and were trying to clear it up. A week before we
went to pick her up we were told that they were unsuccessful at
treating it and that it had all the doctors stumped. We we brought her
home and had many of the doctors here also without an answer. We went
to a specialist who told us that is was psoriasis. She isn't
responding very well to any of the medicine and I am concerned for 2
reasons, one that she has been on some kind of steroid for now almost
6 months and second that they want to put her on more serious
medicine. SO my question is has anyone had any success with helping
psoriasis in infants? She is 16 months old and not yet 19 pounds, it
covers about 40-50% of her body. Any help would be greatly
appreciated! Please educated me!
