to tingle, with in a couple of hours she could not use her legs. She
was hospialized and they determined after lots of test that a virus
settled in the base of her spine causing the damage in her legs. She
can walk fine but does not have any feeling in her legs. She does
report that "they feel like they are on fire and that her nerves are
standing on end". Some days are better than others and she can over
do it very easily. Things like stress also make symptoms worse.
Before this she was very active and healthy, but now she is limited by
what she can do and she gets sick very easily. I was inspired by
Lil's story in the quarterly magazine because they were so similar. I
would love to help her, please send me any advise that you may have.
