RE: [Everything doTERRA] Digest for everythingdoterra@googlegroups.com - 13 Messages in 8 Topics

Denise,
It may sound bizarre but  I once was plagued by severe heel pain on my right heel and it was diagnosed by my Alternative doctor through energy work that it was my hormones and in particular my left ovary ( cross over from right to left ) and uterus so I  began to use Red Raspberry Tea  and Black Cohosh and the pain  went away I drank the tea several times a day sipping on it till I began to get relief and then I backed  to twice daily and then oncee daily and then was able to stop both totally as the pain had done away. Might check with LeftLemon.com to see if any of the diagrams there would help you to understand what it may be. It also is important to recognize exactly in heel area where the pain is because so many different areas are connected there depending on side of heel  etc.
Blessings to you,
Debbie

My husband was rear-ended this afternoon. No blood or broken bones but
he probably has whiplash and his back muscles are really sore. Which
oils would help him the most? Thanks Karen

If it were me, I would suggest giving him an Aroma Touch technique before he
    goes to bed this evening.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks Pat! I am very anxious to spend more time promoting doTERRA. I
am a single gal and currently have a very full time profession as a
CPA (so the moeny is good and being single, I cannot afford to quit
just yet) but on the side I had started my own natural skin care line
(due to my own personal skin issues and never finding a good solution
on the market). I started switching all the essential oils I was using
in the products over to doTERRA and then started using them for my own
medicinal purposes. I've seen how they've increased the efficacy of my
skin care products over the previous oils used as well as how much
they have improved my own health so I truly believe in them and am
trying to promote the best I can. My upline is super helpful but
unfortunately, I'm here outside St. Louis, MO and I don't think there
are any consultants here but maybe I can be the trailblazer here :)

    Hi Julie,
I just want to encourage you to keep on keepin on...It took me quite a while till things started happening here for me. I was "out in the cold" with another company in full armor here, so I had a lot of obstacles in my way. Just keep sharing. And if you can skype with your upline, go for it. I just started doing that, and now I feel very connected again. It has given me the confidence I lacked earlier. You are in virgin territory, so you have the whole area at your fingertips. Keep sharing and be a walking testimony. And when you least expect it, those people whose lives you touched with a drop of health will be calling you back for more. This is some information I received about our CPTG testing. I hope it
helps. It doesn't specify where they are tested, but I have heard the same
    thing as Pat.
This is my humble opinion, but I believe that in the future, we will need to
realize that others will see the benefits of testing at OUR level and OUR
standard. I certainly hope that they do...because it is vital that everyone
have the opportunity to be blessed by using the purest of essential oils to
receive the most benefits without side effects. Our continued success in
the future may depend more on our sourcing, and our people!!!! In that
regard, there is NO one who can compete with doTERRA.

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Dr. Robert Pappas ~ does anyone know anything
    about this guy?

I know that we have Dr. Hill, and that he's my main guy (with the
oils!) But I am wondering if anyone every heard of this chemist, Dr.
Robert Pappas? I have never heard of him. He has come up in a couple
of conversations that I have been having lately.

I found this information on the essential oil university site. (I had
never heard of it before either).

Here is a paragraph of what it says:

EOU began as a testing organization founded by essential oil chemist
Dr. Robert Pappas in 1998 as Applied Essential Oil Research. AEOR
was, and still is, an analytical testing lab specializing in GC/MS
analysis of essential oils and reporting the chemical breakdowns of
literally hundreds of different essential oils and absolutes.

As a Ph.D. chemist, Dr. P soon became recognized as a leading
authority in the field and was trusted by a long list of clients
especially in the essential oil, fragrance, and flavor industries. In
his testing role, more and more people asked Dr. P where they could
purchase oils of the quality and price they needed.

I am wondering if he has a good reputation? I don't mean for anybody
to slander him, but I am interested in hearing what others have to say
    about him.

    Thanks,
    Kendra

 Topic: heel pain
    Penny McGrew <penlmcgrew@msn.com> Oct 04 04:23PM -0600 ^

About 11 years ago, I woke up with terrible pain in the back of my heels. I
could hardly walk! I thought it was just stress ( teenage daughter with a
baby and other daughter had been married the day before!). I went to the
doctor when I started have double vision a few weeks later.

After many tests and mentioning that I had Crohn's disease, I was diagnosed
with Reiter's Syndrome (Reactive Arthritis). If this is what you have, if
can start to affect many different areas of the body. My

feet and eyes have never been the same since!

I had never heard of essential oils back then, and the medication that I was
given made me sick, so if I remember right, I just took OTC pain killers. I
am relatively new to oils, so I don't have any suggestions, maybe one for
the inflammation and one for the pain. Good luck to you!

Pat do you think the Lemongrass would be good for heel pain too?

I don't think it's Plantar Fasciitis because instead of the pain being where
the fascia connects to the ligament, it's on the back of the heel its self.
It doesn't seem like Achilles tendon, because it's lower. I attached a
picture where I put the red arrows where the pain is. It is in both feet.
Past Tense actually works for a few minutes to help with the pain, but this
    needs to heal.

I traveled to Sweden over the weekend, and I'm walking like I need a walker.
The condition worsens when I'm traveling. I'm on the LLV already.

I keep thinking Lime. Boy I smell good! LOL But will it help? I've got about
30 oils with me. I put frankincense and on guard on every morning, and
balance at the end of the day. I need to nip this thing in the bud.

    Thanks,

    Denise

I will always recommend the LLV, because a lot of our problems are nutrition
    related.

I would suggest Deep Blue, Lemongrass (for tendons) and marjoram (good for
    muscles).

If there is some severe stuff going on I would add Helichrysum.

Lavender is also great to add to the Melaleuca and coconut oil. I
used to make a douche with water, Lavender and Melaleuca for vaginal
yeast infections. The Melaleuca instantly cools the burning and both
of the oils stops the itching.

I would dilute any oils that are used topically on a small child...
with the possible exception of Lavender. Remember that the oils are
not diluted in potency when you do so--you just prevent potential skin
sensitivity. Most people experience Peppermint as a cooling sensation,
but there are a few--of all ages--who find Peppermint to be
uncomfortably "hot"! My 18 yo son is one of these, even though he has
darker skin and you wouldn't think he would be sensitive. You just
never know! The very young and the very old are more likely to be
    sensitive.
