Amber,
I did not realize you were new to oils. Forgive my levity. Muscle testing is
not a difficult method. You stand in a relaxed mode, hold a bottle of oil
with both hands at your gut area, ask yourself if this oil is good for you.
Continue to repeat the question in a very relaxed mode until your body
feels pulled forward or backward. Sometimes it just stays where it is.
Forward means the oil in needed in your body right now,
Backward means you don't need it right now and when you just stand
without a pull, it just means you can use it or not.
The best place for the oils is the bottom of the foot in the arch area. This
is the most absorbent place on your body.
However placing it where the pain or discomfort is also is good. If you
are struggling with sadness, put it on the bottom of your feet and the
back of your neck, sometimes it helps over your heart. You will get a
feel for the best place to use the oils.
If you are close to where they have meetings, try to go to them.
Remember that your body has been traumatized, don't lose patience in
getting the help you need.

Pat,
I am REALLY new to essential oil use and have a couple more
questions for you. You mentioned muscle testing. Is that a technique
that is easily learned? Also, how do you determine where to apply the
oils and how often they should be applied? How to you determine the
number of drops to use? Sorry for so many questions. I am anxious to
learn all I can. I was feeling so good on the supplements and the
couple of essential oils I was using prior to my surgery. To say I'm
a bit discouraged at my present state, would be an understatement! I
guess you could say that patience is not one of my better virtues.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Amber
