Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Plantar fasciitis--Please help!

Don't be confused. There are a few oils that you need to rest your body from
if you have used them consistently, the main one is Oregano. It has a tendency
to build up in your liver, because it is so potent you want to take a one week rest
from it.
Just like anything, if you use an oil consistently soon your body gets so used to
it that you may not get the results that you did at the beginning.
Rob's suggestion is good, as with anything that we use consistently, there are
times when our body needs a break.
I have been using the OnGuard when I brush my teeth every day for a year. But
a couple of weeks ago I got a sore throat. I dropped Lemon down the back of my
throat and by the next day me sore throat was gone. I took a seven day break from
OnGuard, using lemon and oregano in its place (not for my teeth), on the bottom of
my feet. And used Birch when I brushed.
I muscle tested for OnGuard yesterday and it was positive so now I am back to
using Onguard consistently.
Let your body tell you what it needs and be open to those feelings. If an oil pops in
your head you may need to use it. Pick it up smell it and muscle test!

Its pretty easy to listen to your bodies needs.

I am confused.  Rob, you said on this post that you should not use the
oils for more than two weeks as your body gets used to them.  Then why
would we use on guard every day as a preventative if the body gets
used to it?  Or what about being on oils every day for blood
pressure?  Does that mean they would quit working after two weeks
because the body gets used to them?  What is everyones thoughts out
there?  I am just confused.  Brenda
