Subject: [Everything doTERRA] ADD/ADHD
I have a friend who has ADD/ADHD, something along those lines.
I'm not terribly educated about this topic. His symptoms have run in
the family (through the males) for generations. The severity has
varied, but every male has dealt with it for a long as the family can
remember. He started on medication as an adult who was running his
own business and on the verge of losing everything because he couldn't
handle the paperwork, and consequently not collecting payment for his
services. He recently decided to try to stop medication. He felt MSG
was a big part of his problem and has cut that out of his diet. After
two months off medication he felt he needed to go back to the meds.
He is interested in using oils, though very apprehensive about
quitting the medication again. He is especially interested because
his seven year old son is beginning to manifest these issues. Through
his own research he feels drawn to vetiver and cedarwood. He said he
read that cedarwood is good for healing familial issues that have been
passed down through generations. He wanted to get the oils through
doterra because my success using the oils in my home. Do any of you
have experience with this? What oils do we have that might be
comparable in action? How can he use them with the maximum benefit
especially with regards to the seven year old boy.
I am so grateful for you who have more experience with the oils
and are willing to share!
